PIMP THE CITY

Pimp the City is a collection of posters part of the collective exhibition Pimp the Type, organized by Catalana de Tipos in Barcelona and Valencia.
The exhibition aims to show a parallelism between the urban movement of ‘Tuning’ (the modification of the performance or appearance of a vehicle) and the first typographical experiments with computer in the early 90’s, inviting more than 50 recognized professional designers, illustrators and typographers, for the realization of a poster expressing this idea.

Pimp the Type posters collection was created by Ester Benedit, printed in 50 x 70 format on Fedrigoni Tintoretto Gesso 300g and signed by the author.
