MUSEU DEL DISSENY

El Museu del Disseny de Barcelona it’s the museum of the arts of the object and design, as a result of merging the collections from four of the city’s museums: El Museu de les Arts Decoratives (devoted to the decorative arts), El Museu de Ceràmica (ceramics), El Museu Tèxtil i d’Indumentària (textiles and clothing) and El Gabinet de les Arts Gràfiques (graphic arts). The museum conserves a collection comprising more than 70,000 objects traditionally classified under the name of decorative arts or applied arts. The museum is housed in the Disseny Hub Barcelona building in Plaça de les Glòries. This building was designed by the MBM (Martorell, Bohigas, Mackay, Capdevila and Gual). On the occasion of the inauguration of the new building, El Museu del Disseny commissioned us to design the corporate website, starting with an original design proposed by the prestigious design studio Design by Atlas, led by Pablo Martín and Astrid Stavro. Optimized versions were also designed for both tablet and mobile.
